Comic style illustrations
From 2012 – 2013 I created short animated news clips for the German TV show „Landesschau“. Besides the time constrain of roughly five hours, most of the described items in the news snippets weren't easy to find or cohesive in style. Resulting in a miss match in every animation. To rectify the situation I developed an easy to adapt comic style. It used adaptable characters from a specific illustrator, a predefined font and self made items which followed a specific rule set.
The following pictures show a few of the items I created during this time and the video is an example of one of the three stories we had to create daily.
